PureGrace Scared Sh*tless of Starting Again Oct 3, 2009 9:02 PM I am currently overweight.  I have been obese in the past and through using a healthier eating plan I was able to lose about 75lbs.  I am extremely grateful that I am no longer obese but after I got to a weight that was less than what I was in high school my weight loss stalled out.  I have maintained this weight for over two years but now I realize I need to move on to the next step in this journey and it scares the crap out of me. I could really use some advice on finding the motivation, willingness and courage to start exercising and eating less.  I know those are the answers to my weight issues.  I'm afraid of failing, afraid of the work that has to be done, afraid of feeling hungry, and the sacrifices I'll have to make.  I know that it is my head that is stopping me and could really use some suggestions on overcoming these fears. I currently don't have access to a gym and want to ease back into an exercise program.  I commute 2 1/2 hours a day so time is an issue as well.  These have also been excuses I have used to stop myself from going forward and I know I need to cut the bullshit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I am not doing this for anyone but me and I feel like that is the most important thing. -Katie
algrayp Ways to heat it up in summer? Jul 6, 2009 8:13 AM I'm a regular at the gym, but during spring I had a chance to move some of my workouts outside - walking or running on a lakeshore trail, hanging out in the park - and I loved it! Now it's started to get ridiculously hot, even early in the morning, so it's harder for me to take that run outdoors. Any suggestions for getting in a satisfying workout outside of the gym without getting heat stroke? Thanks!
