Aww guys im so bummed. As I've told yall before I gained a bit of weight lately.. Ive been trying to be positive and just keep telling myself that ican lose it.. but yesterday i had to try on bridesmaid dresses.
the 4 other girls there were skinny as can be (good skinny.. curvy).. sizes 2-4 and big boobs. Me on the other hand.. size 11 and average sized chest.. OH and im pale.. and there all tan.. They looked absolutely gorgeous in everything.. i wanted to kick them lol!.. I didnt complain about any of the dresses but Geezzzz i wanted to..
I wanted to say.. but my butt looks fat in this and look at my arm fat.. lol ya know??
Any who.. I just wanted to see who int he group is wanting to lose weight/or maintain?
I'm thinking about going tback to counting calories.. i figured with a support group might be good.. i could post daily what my calorie intake was.. ANyone interested?

Andy Warhol for Levi's
Pierre Hardy
hey christina, where did u get that pic
1i think google?
2yea it was google.. it was when i had googled south beach diet
3Psh, I WISH I was a size 11. That's my "skinny" size. I have a huge frame, and even when I'm underweight I'm still a size 10.
4my "skinny" size is around a size 7.. thats whenever i still have some curves but in the right places ya know? Im only 5'4-5'5..
5i wouldnt care if i was still in a size 11.. IF i didnt have so much fat on my body..
6Man Christina, I feel you pain. I actaually have been tanning like crazy because i feel like it makes me look thinner haha.I hate having to try things on with other people around.

7go get a fake tan or use some sunbeds a couple of times.. having a tan can REALLY boost ur confidence!
and maybe go get ur hair coloured and cut etc.. im just suggesting these things cos they always make me feel better!
8MY FAV. fake tan is the spray on legs...
9Spray on legs by sallys
10I agree with Tina_3334. A tan makes everyone look slimmer, and the new haircut will give you a confidence boost. You could always buy some kind of wrap/shawl (like a pretty pashmina, not some old-lady rag), if just for the reception.
Personally I could stand to lose about 30 pounds (more, even, but 30 is my achievable number), both for my health and self-image. It is kind of a slow journey, so I think a support group like this would be a lot of help!
11i want to lose about 30lbs too..Sara and monkey.. we're all int he same boat as far as how much we wanted to lose
12It feels good to know that there are others in my boat!!! All my friends are like yeah i want to lose 5 pounds and its like UGHH I want to lose that in my right thigh
!!
Have you guys ever done the mystic tan? Its expensive but i love it- I do it before events and stuff. It looks so good.

13i never really cared for it monkeyluv.. it was just too streaky... and it looked so orange..y ou REALLY should try the Sally Hansen- Spray on legs.. works GREAT on legs face anything... I usuallyt ake it and put lotion in my hand and spray the stuff into the lotion if i dont want a dramatic tan..
14Does anyone want to count calories with me????
15I feel your pain! My brother is getting married to the sweetest and most adorable girl, she is 5 foot and 90 lbs, and her best friends are all the same way. So I asked to NOT be a bridesmaid because I did not want to ruin their pictures. It is sad that I am missing out on such a huge day for my brother because I feel fat as a size 10.
16There is nothing worse for one's ego than being a bridesmaid. There's always cuter, thinner bridesmaids in the same wedding, the dresses always seem to run small, and they're usually horrible unflattering except to those earlier mentioned cuter, thinner bridesmaids. I've been a bridesmaid 4 times so far and not one of those dresses worked for me.
That being said, size 11 is not a big size; but we all have our own comfort zone and you know what yours is.
I count my calories everyday. It works. And if you look at a previous blog entitled 'Moo', there are lots of good tips people are posting in there for losing weight.
GOOD LUCK! And don't let the bridesmaid dress thing get you down. It sucks for almost everybody.
17It really really really really sucked... the worst part of the whole thing was that there is a MUCH bigger girl that me there with us.. and she had to ask for a smaller size.. and even though i knew she was bigger than me.. it just sucked so bad having to ask for a larger size.. and allt hese little itty bitty girls are going around the mirror talking abuot how fat they are.. GAHHHHHhh i could have just punched them lol
18The bigger girl had to ask for a smaller size?? Well, you don't know what size she started with, right? Could've been a 16.
And it IS always the teeny weeny girls who talk the most about how fat they are. I think they just want us to tell them how small they are. B**ches!
19we should beat all of them up
lol! jk!! im so jealous of those girls though.. 1 of them eats like a fricken pig and CANT gain weight!!! GRRR
20I feel you! I hate it too
21Girl why don't you join Yayi's diet group? You can post food journals and what not in there? I'm trying to lose right now too so I feel your pain
le sigh
22yeah! we count calories there
and babe, lots of us are in the same boat. teehee! but no worries, we can do it!
23and oh gosh, i tried on clothes yesterday, and i realise i still have a LONG way to go b4 i can wear those lovely satiny tube tops/camisoles!
24my mother has recently joined weight watchers and to support her i've been doing the diet with her.you count points ,which you figure by combining fiber ,fat ,and calories.i've been surprised at how i've enjoyed it. you can still eat good foof but it helps with portion control and such.good luck. Oh and trying on clothes, for me, is like good day bad day. depending on water weight or something, some days everything looks great other days you wanna cry.
25i use Spark People, and they have a point system too, but more like they give you points for tracking your food and your exercises etc.
they have weekly meal plans with recipes too, so its fantastic and you can prepare in advance. its all so healthy and great. and you can track your calories consumed too, so that you'll never go over the "limit"
26oh and as for clothes i take comfort in the fact that i can actually fit into tubes now. im top heavy and it used to be that my chest & arm area were so huge it jus couldnt fit! its way better nw. i just want to tone up my arms/back/chest and lose some of the flabs too. LOL
but hey, its a long road, and we should take it slowly but surely yes?
27stars and pearls
i wud love to lose some wts. too.... coz sooner or later it wud be summer again in philippines... and i wouldn't look any nicer in my 2 piece then...
