Okay I havent been dieting.. i havent been exercising.. Ive been afraid tog et back on here and tell you guys the disapointing news!.. I have been wearing a Gold Gym Ab belt and putting vasoline firming lotion on my tummy each night leaving it on there while i sleep and i lost an inch off of my tummy which was exciting! .. I gota get back into the swing of things..
I dont wanna lose weight ANYWHERE except for toning my arms and losing weight off my tummy.. how do i lose that weight without losing it elsewhere???

Weights for your arms use 5 lb dumbells at the least, also push ups and do ab work for the belly. Also Pilates works out all these areas and firms and tones your whole body.
1unfortunately, you cant spot reduce. if you have extra weight you wish to get rid of, cardio is your best bet. you'll lose weight overall, but it will be most noticeable in the "jiggly bits (for lack of a better word!)." if you just weight train those areas you don't like, yes you may raise your metabolic weight and lose (a little) weight, but you will also just tone the muscle that's underneath the layer of fat. if you think about it, doing that without losing the fat layer will only make those areas bigger cause the muscles have experienced hypertrophy!
2Can't be done. You'll lose weight everywhere, what you have to do is put emphasis on those parts that you want to firm up, like doing ab crunches for your tummy. However, no six pack will show until you lose the fat that's covering up those muscles.

3light weights for the arms girl. and push ups are always good, tho i LOATHE doing them. so i just stick to the weights and machines.
the rowboat targets the arms, core and back too. you should try that
4I love the rowboat! that's my new favourite cardio machine, because you get your heart rate up without even noticing, kinda like skiing. definitely try it out! it's hard in the beginning, but it gets easier. and there's no line for it like there is for the treadmills!
5we dont have a row boat thinggy @ our apartments gym.. I know this sounds stupid but i have always been small chested.. and when i gained weight i got my perfect size boobs lol
.. my hips are small and my thighs.. i just wanted to lose the weight off my stomach and tone my arms..
but ive been running again lately ... Farewell boobs.. farewell..

6Everything I've read confirms that one can't spot reduce. But using weights as part of your routine, especially circuit training, would probably help firm you up and build some muscle overall to prevent you from looking withered in unwanted places.
